Starter adds · deindex + bulk
Deindex URLs
Request removal of any URL from Bing’s index — useful for expired content, staging pages that leaked, or product pages you’ve retired. The deindex request is sent via the Bing Webmaster Tools API.
Bulk submission (50/day)
Select up to 50 URLs and submit them to IndexNow in a single batch. Useful after a site migration, a redesign, or a major content update that touches many pages at once.
Pro adds · automatic submission
Auto-submit on publish
Every published or updated post is automatically queued and submitted to IndexNow — no manual step required. New content reaches Bing’s index within minutes of going live.
Scheduled batch submission
Queue URLs to be submitted at a specific time rather than immediately on publish. Useful for coordinated campaigns where you want content available for indexing at a precise time.
Unlimited submissions
No per-day cap on IndexNow submissions. High-frequency publishers — news sites, e-commerce catalogs, high-volume blogs — can index every update without managing a queue.
How it works
From install to results, step by step.
From install to indexed, without waiting for the crawl queue.
01
Connect your endpoints
Enter your Bing Webmaster Tools API key and, optionally, your Google Search Console service account. The plugin verifies the connection and confirms which endpoints are active.
02
Submit any URL manually
Paste a URL, click Submit. IndexNow notifies Bing (and all IndexNow-compatible search engines) instantly. The submission log records the URL, timestamp, and confirmation.
03
Auto-queue on publish (Pro)
Pro’s auto-submit setting watches for publish and update events. Each new or revised URL is automatically added to the IndexNow queue and dispatched within the same request cycle as the save.
04
Monitor with the submission log
The submission log is a chronological record of every URL sent, when it was sent, which endpoint received it, and the response code. Use it to audit coverage or diagnose missing indexing.
Deeper dive
IndexNow: push indexing, not pull.
Standard search engine indexing is pull-based: crawlers check your sitemap on their schedule. IndexNow flips the model — you push, they crawl.
The IndexNow protocol
IndexNow is an open standard co-developed by Microsoft and Yandex. When you submit a URL, the search engine immediately queues it for a fresh crawl — not ‘eventually,’ but within minutes. The protocol is also accepted by Seznam and other participating engines, so one notification reaches multiple crawlers.
Why Google isn’t in the list
Google does not participate in IndexNow. Jexii Indexing handles Google separately via the Search Console URL Inspection API (which sends a similar ‘please recrawl’ signal) and via sitemap pings that update the last-modified timestamp. Both are active automatically.
When it matters most
Time-sensitive content — news articles, product price changes, event announcements, limited availability — benefits most from push indexing. A page that goes live at 9am and isn’t crawled until the next crawl cycle misses the window when the content is most relevant. IndexNow closes that gap.
Who it’s for
Three kinds of site it was built for.
For
News & blog publishers
Freshness is a ranking signal, and IndexNow is the fastest path from publish to indexed. A story published at 9am that reaches Bing’s index within minutes — rather than the next crawl cycle — has a real head start in breaking-news search results.
For
E-commerce sites
Price changes, inventory updates, and new product launches need to index today, not next week. Pro’s auto-submit ensures every product page update is queued for indexing automatically — without any editorial action.
For
Enterprise & large sites
Migrations, redesigns, and large content audits touch hundreds of URLs at once. Starter’s bulk submission and Pro’s unlimited cap let you submit every changed URL immediately after a migration rather than waiting weeks for the crawler to find each one.

FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
Does IndexNow work with Google?
Not directly — Google does not participate in the IndexNow protocol. Jexii Indexing sends a separate signal to Google via the Search Console URL Inspection API, which queues the URL for a recrawl. Sitemap pings fire on every publish event as well.
How quickly does Bing index after a submission?
IndexNow notifications are processed within minutes for most URLs. What you’ll see in Bing search results depends on the crawl returning a 200, rendering the page successfully, and passing Bing’s ranking filters. The notification closes the gap between ‘published’ and ‘crawled’; it doesn’t bypass Bing’s relevance evaluation.
Will submitting via IndexNow hurt my rankings?
No. IndexNow tells the search engine to recrawl a URL — it doesn’t influence how that URL is evaluated once crawled. Submitting a page you just published is equivalent to the search engine crawling it naturally, just faster.
What happens if I deindex a URL that’s currently ranking?
A deindex request sends a removal request to Bing’s Webmaster Tools API, which asks Bing to remove the URL from its index. If the URL is still live and crawlable, Bing may re-index it on the next crawl cycle. Use deindex for pages you’ve deleted or noindexed, not for pages you want to stay live.
Is this different from just updating my sitemap?
Significantly. A sitemap tells search engines which pages exist; they decide when to crawl them. IndexNow tells search engines to crawl a specific URL now. Sitemap updates can take days or weeks to result in a recrawl; IndexNow notifications are processed in minutes. Jexii Indexing does both.
